Interwoven Worksite Client / Matter Job Type,	18/4/2008


This job uses EzeScan PRO, EDRMS, KFI and Upload modules. (DM Bundle)
This EzeScan Job will prompt the operator for a description, client id and matter number.
When complete the image will be uploaded into Worksite with this respective metadata populated.

COMPATIBILITY


EzeScan 4.2.3 (Build 41 and above)
NOTE: If you have not used EzeScan with your Worksite server the nrt.ini file must be
configured on the EzeScan \ Worksite PC. Please refer to Appendix 1 for instructions.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS


Load EzeScan

Select Admin, Settings Backup, Select Import
Click the ... button and browse to the Worksite Client Matter.cfg file
Click the import button
When Completed, click the close button

Press F7. (or select Admin, KFI) Select "Worksite - Sep Page - Client  Matter" from the dropdown list.
Select the EDRMS tab. Change the Server, Login, Password and Database to your
Worksite server. (may require a Worksite Administrator assistance)
Click Apply

Select the Fields Tab and click the edit button for the Client Field
Select the Worksite tab. The custom attribute number is set to "1" for the clients.
Confirm with your worksite administrator that the Custom1 field is your clients.
If not, change this value as informed by your worksite adminsitrator.
Click the Next button.
The custom attribute number for matters is set to 2/1
Confirm with your worksite administrator that the Custom2 field is your Matters.
If not, change this value as informed by your worksite adminsitrator.
i.e. if Your clients is 6 and Matters is 7 the "Custom attribute number" needs to be set
to 7 and the "Restrict view using parent attribute numner needs to be set to 6
When completed, click OK, Apply then OK.

Press F8. (or select Admin, Upload) Select "Worksite - Sep Page - Client  Matter" from the dropdown list.

In the upload properties pane, Change the following to your server:

1) Server (you may need to confirm with your worksite administrator)
2) User
3) Password (It will most likely be your windows login and password)
4) In the Grid on the right there is a target field called Class. This is currently set
   to "DOC" if you do not want the image to be scanned as a DOC class the value will need
   to be changed to another class on your worksite server.
5) In the Grid on the right there is a target field called Database. This is currently set
   to "Active" this value needs to be changed to your Interwoven database.
6) In the Grid on the right there is a target field called Custom1. 
   This is currently mapped to Client (Source Field) If your clients are Custom1 then leave as is.
   If your client is another Custom value i.e. Custom6 do the following.
   Select the dropdown on the source field "Client" and set it to ignore. Click Apply.
   Scroll down till you see a Target Field called "Custom6" select the Source Field dropdown
   box and select "Client" Click Apply
7) In the Grid on the right there is a target field called Custom2. 
   This is currently mapped to Matter (Source Field) If your matters are Custom2 then leave as is.
   If your matter is another Custom value i.e. Custom7 do the following.
   Select the dropdown on the source field "Matter" and set it to ignore. Click Apply.
   Scroll down till you see a Target Field called "Custom7" select the Source Field dropdown
   box and select "Client" Click Apply

When completed, Click OK.


OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS 

1) Load the EzeScan Operator screen (F6) and select "Worksite - Sep Page - Client  Matter"
   from the dropdown list. Press the Import File Button. Select "Separator_sample.tif"

   You will notice and image appear on the screen and thumbnails on the left.
   Note: If you loaded the Separator image the black image is a separator page.

2) Press F4 (Profile)
   Type in a description. (This is the description field in Worksite) Press Enter

3) You will be now directed to the Client Field. EzeScan will prompt you with a client lookup screen.
   Click Search. Select a Client and Click OK.
   The Client Code will be entered into the KFI Panel. Press Enter.

4) You will be now directed to the Matter Field.
   Click Search. Select a Matter and Click OK.
   The Matter will be entered into the KFI Panel. Press Submit.

The image will then get converted to PDF and uploaded into the Scanned Docs folder in Worksite.

Steps 1 - 4 will need to be repeated for the next image until all images are completed in the batch.

How do I stop Interwoven Worksite from reporting my document type as UNKNOWN? 


1. Worksite 8.0 

The following new section must be added to the end of the existing nrt.ini file (located in c:\windows or c:\winnt): 

[EzeScan]
.pdf=ACROBAT
.tif=TIFF 

2. Worksite 8.2 

The following new section must be added to the end of the existing nrt.ini file (located in c:\windows or c:\winnt):   

[EzeScan]
.pdf=PDF
.tif=TIF 

Note 1: The values PDF  or ACROBAT, TIF or TIFF must match the values that Worksite 8.X is using in it windows applications list.
The values are customisable in Worksite, so they may have different values to the samples shown above.
